In an Ode to Terrible Choices, Sex and The City Chooses Fergie’s Theme
Well, at least, that’s the only way I can see this working out. Why would Sex and The City want this song attached to their film (or anything for that matter) otherwise? I mean I realize the theme behind the show and their hopes for empowerment via shopping, but do you really need some overly done, terribly sounding, Fergie included theme to boast all this for you?
In a side rant that I guess I can somehow relate to this main one, how did Fergie ever get popular in the first place? I’ve never seen her music as anything enjoyable and I’m general of fairly open music taste. Can anyone explain this to me? What’s good about an ugly, terribly “surgery-ized” woman who has nothing to sing about other than her Fergaliciousness?
Anyway, we’ve got the song embedded below via Youtube. If you really value your ears, I would avoid this at all costs (unless looking for a good laugh). For those who dare listen, feel free and try to decipher more than three words that she says. My favorites include: “Supercalifragi-sexy” and “I know my credit card will help me put out the flames…”.
What are you favorite lyrics? Do you like this pile of mess? Are you even still reading this?
Youtube has removed the video, but you can still here the song on People Magazine’s site.
