Five Amazing Dark Knight Posters

So we’re a little late on the news for this one…  Yesterday, Brazilian site Omelete posted five new international posters for July’s The Dark Knight.  Of the five posters, three feature Batman, Joker and Harvey Dent individually holding objects in front of their face.  Those three lead to the next poster, which is a combination of them all.  There also debuted a poster of Batman on the new Batpod.

    Um... Awesome. And the trailer's pretty sweet too. Have I mentioned that Chicago is an amazing city? :)

    Also here's a tidbit about the advertising:

    So, I was walking to work in the loop one bright and early morning and I was stopped on the corner of Jackson and State by a group of people standing in front of a white van. One of them had a megaphone and he and the others were shouting "TAKE BACK GOTHAM! TAKE BACK GOTHAM!" over and over and someone handed me a card that said "Vote for Harvey Dent" on it. Viral advertising is amazing. I hope they do more.

    I loved this movie! I'm really more of a Superman fan, but when Christian Bale played the Batman in "Batman Begins," I was hooked. And then to get the special treat of Heath Ledger as the Joker -- fantastic! The posters and marketing I've seen look really wild! I think the posters are incredible. I'll definitely be adding this film to my personal library.
