Pics: First Look at Oliver Stone’s W.
While I’ve been doubting both the overall possibilities of Oliver Stone’s W. as well as the casting of it, the first glimpses today of George W. and Laura have me second guessing myself. Josh Brolin is playing the part of W. and his facial features and expressions appear to be almost identical to those of the real W. Elizabeth Banks who’s starring as Laura doesn’t appear to be as convincing, but still I’m impressed with what they’ve pulled off so far. I really couldn’t picture how Brolin would end up even close to looking like Bush.
We’ve also got a second picture (below) coming from Entertainment Weekly that they’re running as the cover showing both George and Laura (Brolin and Banks).
What do you think about Stone’s W.? Are you interested at all in seeing a biopic on George W.?
