Tropic Thunder Releases a Hilarious Red Band Trailer

For those of you not seeing much from Tropic Thunder because it was a Ben Stiller release, you’re about to change your mind.  This trailer makes both this film and Ben Stiller (and everyone else) look hilarious.  Just because of this trailer, I’m already willing to forget The Heartbreak Kid (which was horrendous).  Anyway, check out the trailer below and let me know what you think after.  I’m sliding this up in my “Most Anticipated Films for the Summer” list that I keep in my back pocket.  It’s written on a napkin and so I can’t really slide it up, but I did those swappy arrow things.  That still counts, right?

Tropic Thunder is being directed by Ben Stiller and written by Etan Cohen.  It stars Ben Stiller, Robert Downey Jr., Jack Black and Steve Coogan.  Be ready for it to release on August 15th this summer.

  • though i don't keep a napkin in my back pocket, this movie is def. on my “Most Anticipated Films for the Summer” list. Am I the only one who is a "little" creeped out with Downey as a black man? Looks Odd!
  • That's actually the only true way to have a "Most Anticipated" list.

    Also, Downey as a black man is what I like the most about it so far.

    downey rocks. each trailer makes this looks more hilarious. hopefully there's more funny scenes in the movie and we just didn't watch them all right here.
