New Trailer Righteous Kill Starring De Niro and Pacino

When I saw the first trailer for Righteous Kill I was interested enough in just the thought of Robert De Niro and Al Pacino sharing screen time together in a movie (they technically shared some in Heat, but no one counts that). After being excited, I read some reviews of 88 Minutes and thought about the last projects from both of these guys and started to worry. Lately their choices have just, well, sucked. So it was downer city for awhile when thinking about this flick.

Now that I’ve seen this trailer though, I’m beginning to regain hope for them. I mean it’s Robert Fucking De Niro and Al Fucking Pacino. If they can’t pull of what looks like an edgey police drama, I don’t know who can. So, here’s to hoping this turns out to be as good as I want it to be. Righteous Kill releases in the U.S. on September 12th. It stars 50 Cent, Donnie Wahlberg and John Leguizamo as well as obviously the greats I mentioned at the beginning.
