Kung Fu Panda Rocks Rotten Tomatoes
You may remember a bit ago I wrote a post that mentioned all of the films I thought would suck this summer. Well, a film called Kung Fu Panda was the second film I mentioned on that list. While I didn’t score that as low as some of the other films on the list, I still didn’t have all that much faith in it. I even went as far as to pigeonhole it into a film like Shark Tales. Well, it appears as if I was wrong.
Out of 11 total reviews on Rotten Tomatoes so far, the film has received 10 positive reviews. That’s a 91% fresh rating for those who aren’t mathematically inclined. A lot of the topic critics are in as saying that they’ve really enjoyed the film and some critics have even said it’s their favorite film of the year. While it now appears I’m one for two on my list (the other being Postal which sucked so bad theaters decided not to even show it), I don’t expect too many other surprises sneaking out of the list. I guess we’ll have to wait and see now that we’re officially rolling the summer movie fast track.
