Poster: Jason Statham Stars in Death Race
In what’s becoming a stream of poster updates, we’ve got the new poster for Death Race that’s hitting theaters today. Those of you who have seen the Death Race trailer know that this is going to be an engergy filled and action packed film. If you haven’t seen the trailer, I’d highly suggest you check it out. Just the fact that it features Jason Statham is enough to get me interested. That man could make the biography of the color orange interesting. Let me know what you think of the poster below.
Ex-con Jensen Ames (Statham) is forced by the warden of a notorious prison (Allen) to compete in our post-industrial world’s most popular sport: a car race in which inmates must brutalize and kill one another on the road to victory.
Death Race is Paul W. S. Anderson’s attempt at remaking the cult classic Death Race 2000. It stars Jason Statham, Ian McShane, Joan Allen and Tyrese Gibson. The film will be speeding into theaters August 22nd.
