Trailer: Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince Teaser

Earlier today we posted some preview pics from Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince with the mention that we’d have a trailer out for you sometime tonight. Well, that time is now. Below we’ve posted the first teaser trailer for the film.

Keeping in line with the book series, this film really brings in the dark overtones and subject material that plauges the Hogwarts crew as Voldemort grows stronger and stronger. Watching the trailer, it doesn’t even look like the previous Potter films in how much more real and dark it has become. Similar to how poeple wondered children would handle the books getting darker, I’m curious to see how they will react to the despair the hovers over your head throughout the next few films.

All I know is that after seeing this, I’m much more pumped for the next Potter than I was during the teaser shown before The Dark Knight.
