Indy fans, your favorite archaeologist/adventurer will soon be swinging into your homes this fall. Paramount has just made one of the years most highly anticipated home video announcements, Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull will hit store and rental shelves on October 14^th in a Single Disc Standard DVD Edition, 2-disc DVD Special Edition and finally a 2-disc Blu-ray set.

Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull finds Indy (Harrison Ford) trying to outrace a brilliant and beautiful agent (Cate Blanchett) for the mystical, all-powered crystal skull of Akator in a quest that is filled with “spectacular fun” (Claudia Puig, USA TODAY). Teaming up with a rebellious young biker (Shia LaBeouf) and his spirited original love Marion (Karen Allen), Indy takes you on an action-packed adventure in the exciting tradition of the classic Indiana Jones movies!

DVD 2-Disc Special Edition

Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull two-disc Special Edition DVD is presented in widescreen enhanced for 16:9 TVs with THX Certified Dolby Digital English 5.1 Surround, French 5.1 Surround and Spanish 5.1 Surround and English, French and Spanish subtitles. The two-disc set boasts a bevy of spectacular supplements sure to please any fan.

The Return of a Legend-The evolution of the new film and a tribute to the legendary hero and his creators.
Pre-Production-Follows Steven Spielberg as he creates animatic sequences, Shia LaBeouf as he learns to swordfight and captures the reunion of filmmakers and cast on the soundstage.
