New ‘Fast and Furious’ Tralier Makes Up for Missing “The”

I never saw myself actually entertaining the idea of eagerly awaiting the new film from the Fast and the Furious franchise (ever so cleverly titled ‘Fast and Furious’).  Then again, I never thought I’d enjoy Tokyo Drift either, and the Justin Lin had made me into a believer.  Now, the director is back with his second film in the franchise and bringing Vin Diesel, Paul Walker, Michelle Rodriguez and Jordana Brewster with him this time.

After watching the trailer, I know I’ll stop doubting Lin.  Check out the trailer below and let us know what you think.  If you’re in the mood for the HD flavor, check out IGN.

Fast and Furious is set to race into theaters June 5th, 2009.  While being the fourth film in the franchise, it’s only the second time we’ve seen the complete original stars get back together (with 2001’s The Fast and the Furious being the first).  If you enjoyed the first or the more recent Tokyo Drift, you should be in for a treat with the newest installment.

  • I was so excited when I saw this trailer!!I greatly enjoyed all 3 so far. I don't know what it is, the shiny cars, the speed, the girls? I just feel so caught up in the whole street racing scene. I always get this urge to import model after watching these movies. And the best part is that the original cast is back!!!:-) Thanks for the release date Mike!
