Trailer: Sean Penn in Gus Van Sant’s Milk
In our second trailer release today, we’re bringing you the first trailer released for Gus Van Sant’s new film Milk. The film showcases the life and political career of Harvey Milk who was California’s first openly gay elected official. Milk is being portrayed by Sean Penn in what looks like a possible Oscar worthy performance (although it’s really hard to tell based on a trailer alone). Working alongside of Penn is a cast of great actors featuring James Franco, Emile Hirsch and Josh Brolin. Based on the footage I saw from the trailer, this film is now for sure to find itself on my mustsee list. Let me know how you feel about it in the comments below.
Gus Van Sant’s Milk is set to release on December 5th. Previously he’s directed Paranoid Park and Good Will Hunting. Sean Penn, James Franco, Josh Brolin and Emile Hirsch all star in the film.
