Bangkok Dangerous – Trailer – Starring Nicolas Cage, Charlie Yeung, Chakrit Yamnam
This is a remake of a Pang Brothers film of the same name that released in Thailand in 1999. Hitman Joe (Nicolas Cage) goes to Bangkok on an assignment to kill four people. He hires pickpocket Kong (Shahkrit Yamnarm) as his assistant and meets a beautiful deaf mute girl along the way. Kong regularly comments on, and asks about Joe’s victims being bad people. This awakens Joe’s conscience. His fourth target is a politician beloved by the people, including Kong. As a result Joe hesitates when he is about to shoot him, which has dire consequences. I don’t know about this film, the trailer doesn’t look that exciting and Nicolas Cage’s past films haven’t been that great either, I’d probably skip it.
My Ticket Purchases:
Being that there is only one release this week and it doesn’t look that exciting, I’ll probably be skipping it. Maybe I’ll try and catch Hamlet 2 since I missed it last week.
Is anyone going to catch this film?
Coming attractions:
Burn After Reading, Righteous Kill, The Women
