Posters: Four Appaloosa Character Posters
I don’t know how into westerns everyone is right now with comic book mania just starting to subside, but if you’re even the slightest bit into them Appaloosa has to be on your radar. Ed Harris is set to direct, co-write and star in the film about two gunmen (named Virgil Cole and Everett Hitch) who arrive in a dusty town called Appaloosa. When they get there, they find a lawless place ran by a renegade rancher named Randall Bragg. When Bragg leaves the sheriff for dead, Hitch and Virgil decide it’s their duty to take the town back for the people.
If you’re doubting Harris as a director, don’t forget his last film was Pollock (a film which was nominated for Oscar categories), so he’s well qualified to run the show. Harris has a good batch of actors to work with as well in Rene Zellweger and Viggo Mortenson. I’m setting my hopes high for this one. You can find the rest of the character posters below.
