Blurb: Quantum of Solace to be Shortest 007 Film

The newest James Bond film, Quantum of Solace, will also be the shortest ever in the 46 year history of James Bond films. The film comes in at an 106 minute runtime, which is around average for a standard movie. The previous Bond film, Casino Royale, was oddly enough the longest Bond film ever at 144 minutes.
While the film being shorter isn’t necessarily a sad thing, in the back of my head less Bond equals sadness. If the movie turns out as good as it looks (which I’m not doubting will happen at all) then I won’t want it to end so soon. But at the same time, movies that are too long (even when good) can be ruined, so I’m hoping they chose the shorter runtime to have the best possible movie. The saddest part of this whole thing is that they cut “Bond, James Bond” from the dialogue in the movie. You’d have to think there’d be at least one spot for it, but they’re saying there wasn’t. Le sigh.
What do you think about the short runtime and lack of catchphrase?
