Kirsten Dunst, Sam Raimi and Tobey Maguire Return for Spiderman 4 and 5
After watching Spiderman 3, I wasn’t all that worried about whether a fourth or fifth installment would happen in the franchise. In fact, I wasn’t looking forward to any more Spidey and was just ready to move on to the rest of the comic world. But, alas news is flowing out that even with the flop (critically, financially it was a goldmine) that Spiderman 3 was, plans are in the works for some new Spidey screentime. Word also has it that most of the key pieces are returning (Tobey Maguire, Kirsten Dunst and Sam Raimi so far).
While I don’t know how excited I am for more from this franchise, it’ll be interesting to see how this pans out. At this point I’m not giving it too much attention, but as some real work gets done, I’m sure I’ll be able to tell if it is something I’m going to be into. What do you think about it all? Ready for some more Spidey?
