‘Special’ Theatrical Release
Special is a film about Les Franken (Michael Rapaport) an average guy who enrolls for a drug study for an experimental antidepressant, Specioprin Hydrochloride. Soon, Les becomes convinced that the drug is causing him to develop super powers and thus he must quit his job and become a superhero.
The film itself released for the first time in 2006 at the Sundance Film Festival. And then went on to play at many other film festivals but never had a wide or limited release. But now almost two years later the film will be receiving a limited release in the US on November 21st. The film looks like it can be pretty funny especially when the show what the character sees and what actually is going on. We have the trailer attached below for everyone to check out.
