IHM Gallery: Josh Brolin as W.

With us standing at the beginning of W. showing up in theaters, were you really suprised that it would serve as this week’s gallery?  Yeah, I didn’t think so.  W. serves as Oliver Stone’s thoughts on the life and times of George W. Bush.  Josh Brolin stars as George W. Bush, Elizabeth Banks as Laura Bush, and James Cromwell serves as Bush Sr.  Check out the gallery before you hit the theaters this weekend to see the movie.

Directed by Oliver Stone and written by Stanley Weiser, W., is actually the second pairing from this writer/director duo.  Their first film together was 1987’s Wall Street.  W. is set for a limited U.S. release on October 17th and possibly a wider one sometime later in the fall or early winter.

  • Josh Brolin evidently tries to make a statement with his movies, such as in No Country for Old Men, which makes him pretty well suited for making something like ‘W.’
