Posters: The Curious Case of Benjamin Button
With The Curious Case of Benjamin Button coming out in just over a month, I was quite confused as to why we hadn’t seen a poster before now (though we have gotten numerous trailer options). Luckily, Paramount has finally decided to release the official posters for the film. The posters are based around the two leads (shocking, I know), but actually fit the movie well.
The nice touch on it all though, is the backwards lettering throughout Brad Pitt’s poster (as he’s growing in reverse) in contrast to Cate Blanchett’s which features all forward text. And while everyone’s criticizing them for being weak posters, I actually like them and think they fit well to the theme. To each his own I guess.
