Reno suffers ‘heart attack’?

It was reported earlier today that French actor Jean Reno suffered a ‘heart attack’, but an updated report states Reno was actually suffering a bout of heartburn and gastroenteritis, according to his publicist.
Earlier reports suggested the “The Professional” star had been rushed to the Fort-de-France hospital on Martinique on Wednesday night after suffering a “serious” [...]

‘Valkyrie’ set for the Holidays

Tom Cruise’s German war drama ‘Valkyrie‘, which tells the true story of a plot to assassinate Adolf Hitler during World War II in an attempt to end the war, will be released this Christmas - after test audiences approved of the long-anticipated movie.
‘Valkyrie‘ had originally been pushed back to February next year because of it’s [...]

Simon Pegg no longer a ‘Bastard’

It looks like Simon Pegg will no longer be in Quentin Tarantino’s ‘Inglorious Bastards‘, which is a huge disapointment.  I love Simon Pegg and ever since I saw Shaun of the Dead I’ve done everything I can to watch Simon Pegg in films, television and comic books.  I was excited to hear a little while [...]

Harry Potter Pushed to ‘09. EW Misses the News

In a newsy double post today (only to make up for the fact we missed out on it yesterday), we’re bringing two things to light.   I know, I know, we’re supposed to break news not recap it in a double post.  But similar to how Taco Bell has just been reinventing the taco or nachos [...]

Dane Cook Hates My Best Friend’s Girl

Well, he hates the poster.  I guess I should have been more clear instead of throwing up a shocking title like that.  Either way, I think the title reflects what should be a fact.  Unfortunately, I don’t get to play God and make life the way I think it should.  Oh, I’m rambling.

Disability Coalition Places Demands on Tropic Thunder

If you haven’t heard by now, quite a few disability groups are a bit unhappy at Tropic Thunder and its star Ben Stiller.  This anger mostly comes from Stiller’s portrayal of an actor playing a mentally handicapped person in the film within Tropic Thunder (titled Simple Jack and pictured to the left).  Ideally, the joke [...]

All day today the Watchmen trailer has been popping up on various websites only to be taken down within the hour, but now since Apple Trailers has the clip it should be staying up.  For those not in the know, The Watchmen is a critically claimed graphic novel that is on Time Magazine’s 100 Best [...]

Nerd Alert: Marvel Movie Lineup Released

MTV Movies Blog writer Josh Horowitz stumbled upon a poster Marvel created at New York’s Licensing Expo that featured Marvel’s plans over the next few years. In the poster you’ll see their plans through 2011 as far as comic book crossover movies. Oddly enough Punisher: War Zone (which releases December 5th) and Ant-Man [...]

Postal is Not Coming to Theaters Any Time Soon

Uwe Boll is a great director.  He’s brilliant in everything he touches.  And while he has attempted to remake many video game franchises into movies, he’s directing way better stuff than the “hack Michael Bay”.  Or at least that’s what he’d like you to believe.  Although, with all his genius, he’s never made profit off [...]

Pics: First Look at Oliver Stone’s W.

While I’ve been doubting both the overall possibilities of Oliver Stone’s W. as well as the casting of it, the first glimpses today of George W. and Laura have me second guessing myself.  Josh Brolin is playing the part of W. and his facial features and expressions appear to be almost identical to those of [...]

The area was one that the production company was renting out [...]
